To do...or no to do?

Hello fellow bloggers, friends and family! I've been considering an Etsy shop lately. I was hoping to get some input from those who have or have had one. I love making things and my mind is always filling with cute creative ideas. But I seem to lack the confidence to just go for it. I am NOT a super seamstress. I've been self taught and my MIL has kindly helped me with my many many questions. I will be honest with you. I'm a bit afraid that the things I make will lack in comparison to others.
I did the bazaar routine last winter and I was very disappointed. Summer is here ( well for us Oregonians...its kinda here) and the kids and I are busy with playdates and enjoying our time at home. While little miss Eva the Diva naps, I sew. It's my outlet and gives me a bit of "me" time. It clears my brain and allows to me to focus on one thing and possibly get something cute ( or not so cute ) as the end result.
If you have had an Etsy shop... What is your experience? How do you manage with kids and life? Was it difficult to set up or easy peasy? I would love feedback.
Sorry if I rambled. Sometimes my brain works faster than my fingers and I can't get it out right!
